We attended the NEXT Accelerator Entreprenuer seminar. It was full of amazing, highly informative presentations on all aspects of starting your own business.

Vivian met the charming Bob Moore, founder of Bob’s Red Mill. He took time to visit with everyone and wished us good success with Hope Springs Gourmet Crackers. We received his autographed cookbook “The Power of Flour.”

As you can tell by her smile, Hope Springs CEO, Vivian Lea, is really excited about being here!

The keynote speaker was Brendan Synnott, co-founder of the healthy snack company Bear Naked. Brendan was also a cast member on CBS Survivor. He is now chairman and CEO of Revelry Brands. He spoke of the niche to the mainstream. We took away some great ideas for our packaging and how to take it from concept to mainstream retailing.

Our trip to the Natural Foods Expo in Anaheim, California, was AMAZING!

This year, there were approximately 70,000 in attendance at the Natural Foods Expo in Anaheim, California and over 7,500 booths. There was every product you could imagine from wholesale to retail, packaging to manufacturing. Hope Springs made some amazing contacts and discovered valuable resources.
